Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are the big movers in the NFL MVP race after sterling Week 5 performances.
Oddsmakers slashed Jackson's odds in half -- from 2500 to 1200 at DraftKings -- in a span of a few hours on Monday. Jackson delivered a game-winning touchdown and threw four TDs to lift the Baltimore Ravens over the Indianapolis Colts in overtime on "Monday Night Football."
Jackson has more total yards this season than half of the NFL's teams.
One of them is not the Buffalo Bills, with Allen at quarterback accounting for 14 total touchdowns (two rushing) this season. Allen had three TD passes at Kansas City in Buffalo's primetime takedown of the Chiefs on Sunday night.
He's now the betting favorite at most sportsbooks at 450 (FanDuel), a marginal stride ahead of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (500).
At BetMGM, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is 650 and third overall behind Allen and Murray.
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers and Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NFL leader in passing yards, are tied at 600 at DraftKings. At FanDuel, Brady is 800 and Herbert 600.
Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is 900 at FanDuel, even with Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and ahead of Jackson (1200) and Patrick Mahomes (1500).
NFL leading rusher Derrick Henry of the Titans hasn't received the same bump after big performances. He's even with Browns running back Nick Chubb, who is second in the NFL in rushing, at 8000 odds at FanDuel. Henry is 4000 for MVP at BetMGM.
